Australian social networking jumps by 29%

Some recent stats bouncing around at the moment regarding the uptake of social networking up to June 2009 here in Australia.

It’s interesting to see the big jump in Twitter accounts – maybe because microblogging is a quick & easy way of connecting both personally & professionally.
How many of your friends are not “connected”?

Almost all of my friends are connected now – and I am working on the others 😉

Once you get past the inane elements of Twitter it can be hugely addictive. And it always helps to have a bunch of people who are already online and easy to connect to.
